You know you can do whatever you set your mind to and sometimes setting your focus on something like getting the healthiest you’ve ever been in your life is the catalyst to success in so many other areas of your life. Right??

So set your goals, plan your attack, and show yourself you’re in control and worth it & the slip-ups are simply learning experiences

What’s your go-to for fast food?

If I have to stop for “fast food”, I’ll usually find a Starbucks bcuz I LOVE these egg white bites with avocado spread!

DISCLOSURE: I’m not claiming to have studied the ingredients nor am I advocating Starbucks as having amazingly healthy options (so please don’t scold me 🙉 & please check labels and know your own nutritional needs) but this is just a once-in-awhile thing and if I’m going to share openly here, that includes the random stuff I do, the random stuff I think, the random stuff I buy & the random stuff I eat too Mostly this randomness is shared in stories.

Btw, is it true Starbucks offers an almond milk now that’s only 3g sugar? How did I not know this If so, I’ll switch from getting a plain latte with coconut milk to a latte w/almond milk!

Anniversary Celebration

Matt & I took a little road trip away to celebrate our anniversary (which is actually Aug 20 but this week worked better to celebrate).

We aren’t picky about where we go as long as we can relax, eat great food, workout & shop!

Splurges

Grateful for this day and this week!!

Just finished some cake 🎂 celebrating my mother in laws Birthday! She’s amazing!

I often don’t share those splurge moments because I’m being present in THE MOMENT not “oh, hold on everyone☝🏼, let me grab my phone & document me eating this cake!”😆 I mean, if it happens to work out to do so, I will 😁but I gotta live my life too & not feel that I have to grab my phone especially during family & special times☝🏼😉

I know many have said they want to see when I splurge more, & I do try, but those times are usually special times (family time, date nights, holidays, etc) where I’m intentionally unplugged. Ya know?

Busy Monday!

Busy busy Monday so I returned some text messages in between intense spinning intervals🚴🏻‍♂️ & fit in listening to our weekly Coach National Wake-Up training👩‍💻 while lifting💪🏼

Multi-tasking is NOT ideal 😆☝🏼.. especially if it involves me cooking🤦🏼‍♀️, but hey, we do what we can WHEN we can, right?! Just don’t text & drive.

Mom and Grandma (Happy Mother’s Day)

Such an awesome Mother’s Day!!

Grateful for my mom who’s ALWAYS been there for me & has taught me more than words can express and my grandma (who just turned 93 & is still as funny & hip as ever! )

Pets for Stress Relief

Pets can be a LOT of work & require making sacrifices but for us, they’re a source of constant humor & loving on them is a form of stress release
If you get a stressful email/text/assignment, instead of turning to food, turn to your pet(s)

Nike Air Max 270s

I’ve been on the hunt for these Nike Air Max 270’s for 2 weeks and finally found them at Finish Line!! Most stores don’t carry this blush color yet! But.. they’re NOT *supposedly* made for running or even working out. They’re classified as a “lifestyle” shoe but I personally see no problem strength training in them!

So excited to try roller skating again!

So excited to try roller skating again!! Chalene & I grew up roller skating quite a bit but it’s been a LONNNGG time! She *encouraged* (aka bossed) me & the girlfriends to get these!

Wish me luck!! If nothing else, probably will have some good falls for insta stories p.s. the wedges are my favorite by “Ipanema” from Amazon & leggings are from BB.

 

Pursue What is Important to YOU

Just love this vacation so far! I’ve been really unplugged aside from a few insta stories but wanted to plug in to social media real quick to share something on my mind. Let me know if you agree or if it helps u in any way.

I think there’s a fine line between focus & pressure. When you’re pursuing something that’s important to YOU, you’ll DECIDE to have focus and your efforts will be consistent.

When you’re pursuing something & it’s truly for someone else, either to please them or prove something, it will feel like pressure & stress.. And success will usually be short-lived or you’ll feel empty once you’ve met your goal.

Whatever you’re pursuing, do it for the reasons important to you. Keep reminding yourself you never give up on what’s important to YOU & every little step matters
