That thinking can slow your progress because you will fail to see the big picture of fitness and easily feel defeated.

Instead, educate yourself, expect it to take time, be consistent, do it for ‪‎strength‬ and developing self ‪discipline‬.  But don’t ever give up on the journey to FIT and strong.

You won’t always be in the mood or have adequate time to workout. That’s a given. ‪‎Do it anyway. ‬ And this applies to eating right as well–it’s not always convenient, fun or easy.

Quinoa with Turkey

What was YOUR Dinner?!

This is Quinoa with low sodium nitrate-free turkey breast (check your local grocery store) sliced really THICK at the deli meat counter and then cut into cubes at home to put in recipes (a tip we learned from @robbinsanity) with salsa, tomatoes, and nonfat plain Greek yogurt which is pretending to be my sour cream! Baby spinach on the side.

It was straight money.

Kids and Fitness

Are your kids working out/eating healthier because they see YOU doing it? As a parent, it’s gotta be one of the best feelings of accomplishment when you see your kid making healthy food choices and *willingly* doing workouts!! If the healthy food and fitness is made FUN, they’re in!

This was our son and Cory Miller’s son carrying a pipe filled with water after they finished their crossfitkids workout at Black Swamp CrossFit. How cute is Cory’s son’s perfect overhead form!?!

They also ran, flipped tires and played kickball! Our son is also doing some of the ‎T25‬ workouts…Willingly!!
