Easy Lunch

I had lunch before at 10:45am over here!💁🏼 If I’m hungry, and it’s not just a dumb craving🙄, I eat!! Otherwise I’ll snack uncontrollably!

This was 2 slices of Applegate Farms turkey, 1/4 mashed avocado, tomato, lettuce & mustard on toasted Ezekiel English Muffin (found in your grocery store freezer section).

From the ‪#‎hammerandchisel‬ meal plan this was 2 yellows, 1/4 red, and 1 blue. Mustard is a freebie (yay!) I don’t count the 2 little lettuce leaves & the slice of tomato.. That’s just gettin silly in my opinion.

Brown Rice Wrap

Brown Rice WrapThis is an Applegate Farms Turkey burger with grape tomatoes, avocado, olives, spring mix & non-fat plain Greek yogurt (bcuz it tastes like sour cream but is HIGH protein for a condiment), all on a FoodForLife brown rice wrap.

These wraps are kinda chewy. If you’re used to white flour wraps, these will take some getting used to..

Most “clean” foods will grow on you in time if you give up the high sugar/carbs/sodium foods (& forget what they taste like).

And yes, these kinda fall apart when you load them up like this..

A small price to pay to see RESULTS👍 🙌 😁.

Turkey Burgers with Braggs

Turkey burgersThis was LUNCH🍴Matt made turkey burgers, seasoned with Braggs Organic seasoning topped with tomatoes, Brussel Sprouts with garlic & evoo! Hummus & salsa for dipping!

Then I had a dark chocolate square! 🍫
I’m *estimating* roughly 400 calories (with the 50-cal dark chocolate included ) & 25g protein. I try to get in 20-30g protein at each small meal.

Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Lettuce WrapTurkey lettuce wraps w/nonfat plain Greek yogurt pretending to be sour cream (HIGH PROTEIN & doing a delicious job as a substitute)👌😋

The turkey is seasoned with some kind of taco seasoning my hubby picked up at ‪WholeFoods (not sure which kind), then he diced Green Pepper, Red Onions, Baby Bell Peppers and placed on Romaine.

Our pre-teen son even liked them but he wanted his turkey meat without the cut-up onions & peppers😏 (baby steps.. Just discussed this topic on my last 🍐-iscope 😉)

This was ‪an ‎Ezekiel toasted English muffin, oven roasted turkey slices (no nitrate, no msg, no antibiotics, low sodium), avocado & hummus!😛 I should’ve added tomatoes!

CIZE Salad

🍴I’m part of the CIZE test group & I’m following the meal guidelines (pretty similar to how I already eat). Feeling AWESOME so far!
I know the most FAQ will be “dressing?” so here’s the scoop on that (20 burpees if u don’t read): I used a light balsamic vinaigrette this time, store-bought;nothin special (instead of just red wine vinegar & oil). I felt this salad needed some help💥 given the lack of Feta that I love!😉 There’s nitrate-free, low sodium turkey breast & I ended up adding more ! 🙌

Do pictures of healthy food help?

One of my small meals today (and I washed it down with a piece of dark chocolate 🍫😉).
~350 calories (400 with chocolate) & ~30g protein💥
I know my meals are SUPER boring to most but this way of eating works for me because it’s easy & quick👍! This is just turkey burger (we grill a bunch 2x/week to put in stuff), avocado, tomato, & romaine on a LIGHTLY TOASTED (that’s key👌) Ezekiel English muffin ..all to be dipped in a mix of plain Greek Yogurt & Spicy Dijon mustard🙌

Hawaiian Chicken SandwichI know I said Chicken but I used Turkey!
It’s a cleaner *version* of the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich! It was SO good! Use chicken of course if you prefer!
I used Applegate Farms turkey burger I found at our regular grocery store (#organic, nitrate-free, no antibiotics used, gluten & casein free) on a toasted Ezekiel English Muffin (grocery store freezer section), with grilled pineapple

BBQ Sauce:
1/4 c Tomato Sauce
2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
