Discipline is about doing the activities which take you closer to your best life, even when those activities are the last thing in the WORLD you feel like doing. Don’t allow distractions & don’t negotiate with yourself… find a way and just do it.

30 minutes was all I did, or needed, today! How about you?

Some days it’s more & some days it’s less. Depends on the day – my time, how I feel, what’s NOT too sore😆, etc. The main thing is to do SOMETHING active daily bcuz after several days off, the habit starts to wear off & then you risk losing your mojo altogether

If you can’t do Tricep push-ups on your feet, start with hand-release Tricep push-ups on your knees by just lowering yourself to laying on the ground completely, releasing your hands & then powering yourself back up. Eventually progress to straight Tricep push-ups on the knees, and then start doing them on your feet. Even though you’ll just start with 1, before you know it, you’ll be doing an entire set on your feet💪

See your focusThis may sound dumb🙄, but I really think it’s important to wear a sleeveless top when you’re working your upper body, and shorts when you’re working lower body.

I think it’s highly effective that you SEE your muscles working💪👀!

It helps you realize you ARE working those muscles, maybe helping you isolate better, and if you have a mirror (I love our huge ‪#‎ikea‬ mirrors that just lay on the floor against the wall -$100), you might see muscles you didn’t know you had😳👏!

It’s that little taste of progress that can motivate you to keep going!👊

Not really by choice..
Our new treadmill is stuck on an incline😱 ever since we got it. It makes running SO hard! I know I could run outside but there’s so much ice & I really dislike the COLD. I know my handy husband could fix it but I feel it’s a sign from God saying “You know those goals you have? Let’s go!”

So we’re both rolling with it (literally 😆). Check back with me in the summer to see if I’ve broken a 20-minute 5K race!😂
