Nike Air Max 270s

I’ve been on the hunt for these Nike Air Max 270’s for 2 weeks and finally found them at Finish Line!! Most stores don’t carry this blush color yet! But.. they’re NOT *supposedly* made for running or even working out. They’re classified as a “lifestyle” shoe but I personally see no problem strength training in them!

So excited to try roller skating again!

So excited to try roller skating again!! Chalene & I grew up roller skating quite a bit but it’s been a LONNNGG time! She *encouraged* (aka bossed) me & the girlfriends to get these!

Wish me luck!! If nothing else, probably will have some good falls for insta stories p.s. the wedges are my favorite by “Ipanema” from Amazon & leggings are from BB.

 

Something is Better than Nothing

Didn’t get to finish my workout today.. only fit in 25 minutes BUT that doesn’t bother me. I don’t think it should bother YOU to shorten a workout if you have to either.

Something is better than nothing to keep your head in the game!

I personally think too many people don’t do a workout or finish a program because they get an all or nothing mentality.

How about we do our best and do better next time

Do whatever promotes consistency for you so your habits create a lifestyle

Different Body Types Respond Differently

I’m doing the new BB program & my glutes are SORE today …I upped my weights to 25lb dumbbells on the Deadlifts & sumo squats though! I love to be sore!

But today I’ll focus on a little cardio & arms! Btw, and I’m sure you already know this, but there are different body types (ectomoroh, mesomorph & endomorph are commonly used categories) & usually you’re not an EXACT MATCH for 1 group or it’s hard for you to tell because you’re a mix of 2 types. But for anyone trying to achieve a certain look, I think it’s important to understand how each body type responds differently to certain meal plans & training regimens.

1. Speed Skaters
2. Quick Toe taps on a step
3. Ab rollers
4. Mountain Climbers
5. Thrusters as shown (with a weight that is challenging to do for a minute without breaks)

For me, it’s my preworkout & putting on great music! FitRadio (the Hip Hop genre, or R&B, or Top 40 are my favorites on there )! Just re-select the genre if you don’t like the playlist that’s going to play & it will take you to a different DJ mix

Abs/Core

An ab/core workout per some requests.

You don’t need to do all of these & you should definitely modify if any of its unfamiliar/difficult to you. I hate to even put reps & sets on this bcuz it’s really a matter of your fitness level, core strength & endurance, etc. I do core work like this for just a few minutes 2-3 times per week.

This is OF COURSE double time speed just to quickly demo, but in real life, go slow & controlled so you can concentrate on the contraction & your form.

Real Run after Calf Tear

First time doing a real run after my GastrocTear (calf tear) & finished 2 miles with ease! I’ll build to my normal pace & mileage in time.. but I’m happy & grateful for Dry Needling, Cupping, & US therapy at physical Therapy !

Can’t believe I was on crutches 7 weeks ago! If I can do this, YOU can do this!
