Did you know I started out on IG by ONLY showing food pics?

I wanted to wait until I felt comfortable posting pics of myself. Unless you knew me personally, you wouldn’t have connected with my account because you wouldn’t have had ANY idea who the person was posting .. all you saw was food & ingredients in the caption. Then I realized I was only going to get comfortable doing it by actually DOING it So I posted some pics looking to the side & from a distance ..baby steps.. but it started to get a little easier. I didn’t care as much what kind of impression I was making but instead focused on what kind of IMPACT I was making.

Then everyone starting posting videos & in watching some of the fitness gurus do this, I thought I’d wait until I had a defined 6-pack like them. I’ve been a fitness instructor & personal trainer on the side for YEARS, I thought I couldn’t possibly put a video up until I looked like that vision in my head.

Now I laugh at this because WHO CARES if I had 5lbs to lose or 200.. inspiring others is about showing the journey- the ups AND the downs, & the progress for whomever happens to relate. It’s that voice in our heads that says it needs to all be a certain way & look a certain way from day 1 ..& that voice lies!

I quickly realized my ability to help other women like me & build a successful business for my family, would be halted by my own fear of judgement.. a selfish reason to wait in my opinion.

So what I’m trying to say is, if you’ve also caught yourself saying “I’ll do ____ once I have _____” stop & ask yourself who or what purpose you’re serving by waiting.

Timing & situations are NEVER perfect, so stop trying to kid yourself.

I’m SO glad I got out of my own head & took some leaps of faith

Truth is, posting pics & videos are still sometimes uncomfortable, but it’s a very SMALL price to pay for the fulfillment I get from being able to be a stay-at-home mom now, helping so many of you& all the rewards of this business.

Cut the self-sabotage & go after it imperfectly! So many new doors will open!

Today was not a typical Saturday bcuz it was alllllll about playing catchup with business! These last several days have been devoted to finalizing the last pieces of the move (we are % out FINALLY.. Matt says it’s official.. we’re hoarders ), projects & deliveries at our new house, closing on the house we moved out of, planning our Super Saturday, hosting my parents & celebrating my mom’s Birthday busy week! 

So I finally got to workout tonight & in less than 30minutes I busted out biceps, triceps & turbo!!

There are days where life is ALL off balance & that’s not only OK, the imbalance is actually *necessary* for growth because it forces you to fall forward to find your balance again.

It’s NOT your reality

Don’t you dare settle for the goals & lifestyle that others think is realistic for you. Their opinion of realistic is based on their previous experiences of what is realistic for THEM & the people they know.

It’s NOT your reality

Believe in yourself more than anyone!

I’m very familiar with judgement from people that don’t know me & I do my best to ignore whispers, comments & looks

I wear boots in warm weather .
I wear makeup when I workout .
I’m a former ballerina who lifts weights & does Crossfit .
I married my 12-year old crush .
I was able to have a baby against all odds . Built a multi million dollar fitness business on social media even though I’m NOT the fittest and I lack social skills

I’m saying this because I want you to take the chance even though everyone around you might be shaking their heads, judging or thinking… “good luck with THAT!”

Don’t let statistics or their opinions of you be the reason you don’t do what you want.

You only have one chance to give this life your best .

They aren’t walking in your shoes.

They don’t know your reasons or your drive.

Yes, be open minded, be smart, consider how your path will Impact your future , but take a chance as you might not get the chance again. It’s not a waste of time if you learn something .

Believe in yourself more than anyone!

Who LOVES routine??

I’m not a detail oriented, structured-type of person BUT I DO love routines, if that makes sense I think we ALL do better, kids & pets too, with a routine.

It used to terrify me! Here I am today prepping for my weekly Wednesday team call & thousands will watch the recording. I don’t get nervous any more, just excited & really focused on what I have to share. Focus on the purpose of the message, not the fear. If I can do this, any one can!

Had a great call with one of my coaches who’s striving to build her business to the point it’s out-earning her full time career. I’ve been there & know that drive! I know it’s not easy when you’re a mom working fulltime. It fuels me to know others have that fire in them to make this happen for themselves too! That’s what I want for my coaches.. to equip them to build a business as big as their heart desires.. it’s all a direct correlation to how many lives you are impacting .

Ugh.. that bicep shrunk a little! My lifting has been slacking a little this summer & surprise surprise, it shows! As a Coach, I have to step it up! The best built in accountability comes from having to lead by example, not with perfection but with authentically working towards your best you.

I was asked recently why I’m stronger & fitter now than I was 10+ years ago in the Turbo cast. Mainly it’s bcuz I don’t sit at a desk all day anymore & actually have more time for my workouts, more time for sleep, healthy meals & reduced stress.

Once you make the decision to change the direction of your life, your actions follow. Don’t wait for your actions to change & then assume the decision to commit will come to you. It doesn’t happen that way. The decision comes first & that’s up to you!
